World Circular Economy Forum 2024

April 15 - April 18

The yearly World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) showcases top circular economy solutions, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and experts from across the globe. Embracing circular economy strategies can empower businesses to capitalize on fresh opportunities, gain a competitive edge, and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

WCEF stands as a global venture led by Finland and Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund. Since its inception in 2017, the forum has continually expanded, evolving into a more influential platform with each passing year.

From 15 to 18 April, the World Circular Economy Forum 2024 is set to take place in Brussels, Belgium. The event will serve as an important platform advocating for a global transition to a circular economy.

The programme on 15 and 16 April consists of 4 plenaries and 16 parallel sessions guided by the latest scientific evidence, spiced up with 11 workshops hosted by our partners. Furthermore, the forum includes a full-day programme on 17 April, curated by the Belgian EU presidency team. This programme encompasses site visits to circular economy companies in Belgium.
