Journée contrat de filière Ingrédients biosourcés : Chimie du bois
The Journée contrat de filière – Ingrédients biosourcés: Chimie du bois is a full-day event dedicated to showcasing the growing innovation ecosystem around wood chemistry in the Grand Est region—France’s second-largest forest area with over 1.9 million hectares of productive forest resources.
Organised by Bioeconomy For Change in partnership with Région Grand Est, CRITT Bois, LERMAB, and the WoodInChem consortium, the event brings together researchers, industry players, and regional stakeholders to explore sustainable valorisation pathways for wood biomass.
The programme includes workshops and presentations on:
- Wood chemistry innovation in Grand Est
- Biopolymers and bio-based materials (cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, extractives, tannins)
- Regional and EU projects advancing sustainable wood valorisation
- Sessions dedicated to polymers, processes, and new biorefinery approaches
Bio-LUSH will be featured in Session 3: Innovation on Polymers and Processes, with FCBA presenting the project’s work on wood-based biorefinery and bio-based fibre development.
The event is free and open to all, with limited seats and the option to participate online.
